35 kilometres long, Lake Vouglans is divided into 3 separate zones, each of which has its own marina, where you can enjoy water sports according to your centres of interest and your sport or tourism activities. 

Whether you are just passing through, here for a holiday or leaving a boat in the dock, the 700 mooring rings are available for your boats all year round.

Port Mercantine marina

In Maisod, Port Mercantine marina has 7 pontoons and 274 mooring rings. The berths are spacious to welcome larger vessels, in particular sailboats. With the marina being located in a windy area, it is particularly suitable for sailing and non-motorised water sports such as canoeing, paddleboarding and pedal boating, etc. Sailboats and motorised boats cannot exceed 10 km/h.

Port Saisse marina

Port Saisse, the smallest marina on Lake Vouglans, is located in Pont-de-Poitte in the Jura. Mainly devoted to fishing, this marina is equipped with 83 berths for boats and sailing is limited to 10 km/h. A magnificent, pleasant and peaceful zone of Lake Vouglans that also offers an abundance of fish (zander, pike, perch and carp). At the marina, the restaurant La Capitainerie awaits all fish lovers. Specialising in home-made fish and chips, all the food served is local to ensure you a delicious meal from the Jura. Port Saisse marina boasts a seaside atmosphere for the greatest pleasure of holidaymakers and visitors.

Port Meix marina

Right next to Surchauffant Campsite and its beach, Port Meix marina is the main harbour office. At the foot of Pyle bridge, this marina offers 274 berths laid out over 3 pontoons. The largest port on Lake Vouglans in the Jura, it is the perfect base for travellers arriving by boat or with their boat. Next to the marina and Surchauffant Campsite, there is a parking area for trailers and a launch/careening service to facilitate arrivals and departures. Also, there is a 24-hour petrol pump at Port Meix marina. Located in the "speed zone", it is the favourite spot for motorised vessels with a speed limit of 60 km/h. Visitors can also try their hand at water-skiing and jet-skiing, with rental services available on site. Port Meix marina also offers access to the "Le Louisiane" cruise ship, a replica of a Mississippi paddle-wheeler aboard which you can enjoy a guided tour and a spot of lunch. Two restaurants welcome you in the marina: the Balcon and the Guinguette.
